DayNine Consulting works with customers to identify additional capabilities available in your current Workday system and manage the planning, configuring, and deployment of the desired functionality.

Optimization Services

Workday Roadmap Evaluation and Planning
DayNine staff will work with customers to perform a thorough review of their existing Workday system, functionality in use, availability of additional capabilities, and associated SOW, budget and timeline.

Enterprise Systems Roadmap and Integration Planning
An in-depth review of customer’s enterprise systems by DayNine’s integration experts will look for potential for efficient integrations between those systems and the Workday system.

Workday Optimization
DayNine Consulting’s operations and technical staff will perform an in-depth review of the performance of customer’s current Workday system, as well as their internal Workday operations, processes, and staff capabilities. DayNine will provide a written report with findings and recommended modifications.

Merger and Acquisition Assessment
As part of upcoming or recent merger and acquisition activity, DayNine Consulting staff will perform a thorough review of a customer’s current HR operation, their Workday system, and the potential to convert or integrate the additional organizations and systems.

3rd Party Workday System Evaluation
DayNine Consulting provides an independent review and assessment of Workday systems installed or currently maintained by 3rd party service organizations, as well as systems currently maintained by internal customer staff.

Tune-up / Check-up
Ensuring a Workday system’s optimal performance amongst changes in organization, environment, or just fine-tuning as follow-up to recent installation, DayNine Consulting’s operation staff will perform a regular check-up or tune-up that includes review and recommendation around user adoption, data optimization, system performance, reporting, enterprise-wide integrations, support history, and more. It is recommended that this service be performed every 6-12 months, or as part of an upcoming upgrade or significant organizational change.

Reporting Optimization
Extending beyond Workday system reports configured as part of the initial installation, DayNine Consulting reporting experts will meet with various representatives within the enterprise to further evaluate their current Workday report usage, additional reporting requirements, ability of customer to build and maintain the reports, and creation of a plan to address the broader reporting requirements. DayNine can either support the report development using customer’s internal staff, or provide reporting resources to build and/or modify required Workday reports for them.

Update Services

Workday issues three system updates per year with enhancements of current capabilities, as well as introduction of additional functionality. To ensure a smooth update with positive results and maximum return on each customer’s investment, DayNine Consulting provides multiple update services, including:

Update Review, Planning and Support
In conjunction with each Workday release, DayNine Consulting’s operations staff will meet with each customer to review the upcoming updates, potential impacts of the update, required configuration changes and appropriate testing activities. As part of this exercise, DayNine will provide the customer’s staff with a plan that organizes efforts of all parties with an associated timeline.

Update Functionality Evaluation and Planning
As part of the Workday update, DayNine will assist the customer in  reviewing the update, evaluating new functionality, matching logical additions with customer needs, and preparing associated plan, budget, timeline and SOW.
